The application to get a library card is available at the Lantana Public Library.

Library cards are free for Lantana residents and residents of the members of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches. This includes Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park, Lake Worth, North Palm Beach, Palm Springs, West Palm Beach, and all of Unincorporated Palm Beach County.

The towns or cities of Palm Beach, Highland Beach, Boca Raton, and Manalapan are not part of the Library Cooperative. Residents of these areas are considered non-residents for purposes of obtaining a Lantana Public Library card.

To obtain a Lantana Public Library card, please bring with you a picture i.d. and one (1) other proof of residence such as

*a tax bill,
*a rental lease, or
*a utility bill

Library cards are issued to all children – birth through 17. Reading patterns are established by 5 years old, so we invite you to get your children cards as soon as possible.

Fees for non-resident  and lost cards are as follows:

1 year – $20.00 per household
6 months – $15.00 per household
Lost card fee – $2 per person

Non-resident applicants must provide proof of residence as indicated above.
