Get a Library Card

Library cards are free for Lantana residents and residents of the members of the Library Cooperative of the Palm Beaches (www.coala.org)(Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Park, North Palm Beach, and Palm Springs) . 

Palm Beach, the City of West Palm Beach, and other areas of Palm Beach County areas served by other libraries, including the Mandel Library of the City of West Palm Beach or the Palm Beach County Public Library System (www.pbclibrary.org).  Residents of these areas are considered non-residents for purposes of obtaining a Lantana Public Library card.
 
To obtain a card, please bring a picture i.d. and one other proof of residence:

*a tax bill            *rental lease        *utility bill


Parents must show proof of residency to obtain a child’s card.  Library cards are NOT issued to children under 8 years of age.
 
Fees for non-resident cards 
 
 1 year-  $20.00 per household
 6 months-   $15.00 per household

Non-resident applicants must provide proof of residence as indicated above.

 
The application to get a library card is available at the Library.
Come to the library (together with one of the types of documentation listed above to prove residency) and get a library card!
